Trek Description

Singalila pass is in West Sikkim, one of the amazing trekking route in India from where many mountain ranges are observed along with beautiful Rhododendrons. Singalila Ridge is the natural boundary between India and Nepal. The dense forest and flower valley of Barsey makes the place beautiful and natural. Rhododendrons sanctuary is covered across 104 sq ft. This trekking journey is normally a sweat journey. In this tour package, you will enjoy all pleasures of trekking in this famous Singalila trek with night camps and food.

This is the small trekking itinerary of 6 nights and 7 days, full of amusement in nature's lap.

Daywise Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1

As you reach NJP station or Bagdogra airport our representative will greet you and will take you to Hilley, the small village of West Sikkim the gateway of the famous trekking route of Barsedan sanctuary. Distance is about 150 km that will take 8 hours, a bit long journey but as per your need, you can stop the car. Night stay at Hilley.

Day 2: Day 2

After you complete your breakfast set to ready for the trek. Hilley to Barsey trail comprises of different colours and different shapes of Rhododendrons throughout the year and especially from April to May. The trek is about 4 km and the grassy path takes one and half hour. As you reach Singalila you will get an awesome view of Mount Kanchenjunga. Overnight stay at base camp.

Day 3: Day 3

Trek is divided into three parts, at first, you will start for Lassuney, a small dry swamp between two hills which will take 2 hrs to cover a 4 km distance. Then in the second part, you will go across the field to reach Deolonga Dhap, much bigger. At last to reach Joributey where you will stay overnight and will have dinner.

Day 4: Day 4

On this day start your trek and unhurriedly glide the hill and reach a point from where you will view the mountain Kanchenjunga and near peaks if weather permits Barren Highlands with scrubs and conifers may give rough winds and less water. At night temperature drop to freezing point. Distance cover 13 km will take 6 to 7 hrs Overnight stay at kalijhor.

Day 5: Day 5

We will visit Singalila pass the main destination of this trekking and then return to Kalijhor. At this place, you will get an awesome look at mountain Kanchenjunga along with sunshine After you complete your breakfast, leave for the day's trail. At top of Kalijhor, Phoktey Dara is situated from where miraculous mountain ranges of Nepal and Sikkim are seen. All most of the sunrise are above 7000 m. Night stay at kalijhor.

Day 6: Day 6

Today start your day by watching the sunrise from Phoktey Dara 30 min distance from Campsite. Weather in hilly areas is normally unpredictable. After watching sunrise have your breakfast and then proceed trekking towards Uttarey.Uttarey Valley gives great vision with the monastery, tower market and various others. The total distance of 14 km and the time will take 7 hrs. Slowly come down where the car will be waiting for you to take you to Darjeeling. Night stay in Darjeeling

Day 7: Day 7 Darjeeling to NJP / Bagdogra

After you complete your breakfast be ready to drive towards NJP/ Bagdogra. Tour Ends
