Day 1, Paro airport to Thimpu (55 km) , 2 hrs.
On arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transfer to Thimphu, the modern capital town of Bhutan. Traditional monasteries and modern buildings give excellent contrast and attract huge tourist. On the way to you will pass villages , bridges , river and temple. After you reach Thimphu check in to hotel.Depending on your arrival time in Thimphu, we will try to cover the sightseeing as much as we can before the sun sets. Explore around the Thimphu city in the evening.

Day 02: Drive Thimphu to Punakha | Distance: 75 Km | Duration: 3 - 4 Hours
After breakfast proceed on to visit Thimphu valley.Visit Trashichhoe dzong (Thimpu Dzong), the beautiful medieval fortress/monastery .Since 1962 houses of the dzongs are placed for most of the Government’s office and King’s Throne room .It is also the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot. Then visit National Library, it was established in 1967 where you will find numerous number of ancient Buddhist texts and manuscripts which preserve the rich cultural heritage. . After that drive to Arts & Crafts School, famous for traditional thangkha paintings. Here you will meet, students who make design on cloth. Later visit Textile and Folk Heritage Museums, rammed mud and timber house which holds Bhutanese material culture and living traditions. After lunch visit Handicrafts Emporium which displays wide assortment of beautifully hand-woven and crafted products. Then drive to Memorial Chorten, the Stupa built in the memory of Bhutan’s Third King Gyalpo who is popularly regarded as Father of modern Bhutan. This is dedicated to world peace. The stupa is structured as large white crown shaped with golden spire .The paintings and statues inside this monument create a intense feelings of Buddhist philosophy. Late afternoon drive to Punakha across Dochula pass (3100 m ).

Day 03 : Drive Punakha to Wangduephodrang / Paro | Distance: 150 Km | Duration: 5 Hours
After breakfast visit Punakha Dzong, administrative center of the district Punakha Built beautifully at confluence point of rivers of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal .Then drive to Wangdiphodrang Dzong a really impressive dzong built in 1639. The district of Wangdiphodrang is also well-known for its bamboo products, slate and stone carvings. After lunch drive to Paro on the way you will visit the Dochula pass. En route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom built in 1627, at present it is the school of Buddhism.

Day 04: In Paro, Hike Tiger's nest (3,120m) | Duration: 5 hours approx. (back and forth)
After breakfast takes an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, enclaved on the high cliffs the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery hence it is called “Tiger’s Nest”. The excursion to monastery takes about 5 hours for a round trip. Then walk down t to visit Rinpung one which has a long and fascinating history.

Day 05: Paro - Depart
After breakfast drive to the airport for flight to onward destination.
